While in my trip to Thailand, I stayed in Majestic Suite Hotel, an excellent 3-star hotel on the Nana Tai Alley, and near the Phloen Chit road. It is very close to the center of Bangkok, where all the bars, restaurants, embassies, malls and other tourist places are situated. Their Superior King Bed suite cost me just $37 per night, and I paid around $3 daily for breakfast. I have found it rather spacious for one person, but two wouldn’t feel very comfortable there, I guess. The hotel itself is rather small, the lobby feels cluttered, there are a lot of tourists and the largest room they have must be the Double Deluxe for two people, which is rather small (and affordable), too.
I have stayed here for the couple of nights, and I had some time to spare during my trip, so I have decided to try out their recreational zone. Unfortunately, Majestic Suite Hotel doesn’t have any swimming pool or sauna of its own, so I had to look for these somewhere else (it wasn’t hard, since a plenty of 4- and 5-star hotels are located near-by, as well as a good number of standalone saunas, gyms and bars. However, I’ve found a nice bar inside the hotel, where they didn’t ask too much for the local booze. I’ve also had a dinner in their restaurant, but I didn’t really like the food, so I recommend to go outside for a meal. The Wi-Fi was available in all hotel rooms and areas: not very fast, but stable enough to use it.
I have asked the staff about their policy regarding visitors and they told me in English, that they do not have any extra fees for the guests, neither have they kept any records of such visitors. I was completely satisfied with such answer.
